The board of Alliance Trust said it is now hunting for a new chairman after Lesley Knox announced she is stepping down.
At its AGM today, the group said in a statement Knox would be stepping down within the next year, after a decade on the board. It said: "As part of the board's succession plan, Alliance trust is announcing today that Lesley Knox will step down as chairman by the time of the 2012 AGM, after 10 years on the board." The board said it is now actively searching for a new chairman.
