Suresh Sadasivan has joined Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) as head of Asian equities, replacing David Riddle who is retiring after 14 years in the role.
Sadasivan, who left Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM) following a manager reshuffle in 2008, will be based in London, reporting to Ian King, head of international equities at the firm. "We are delighted to welcome an investor of Suresh's calibre to LGIM, bringing as he does a wealth of successful fund management experience across a range of markets," said King. Sadasivan, previously head of emerging markets equities at OMAM and manager of its £88m Asian Select fund, said: "I am very pleased to take on this exciting opportunity at one of the leading UK investment management companies."
