Hicks to leave Fidelity; White to head FundsNetwork

Peter Hicks, product director of UK equities at Fidelity, is leaving the company.

Hicks, former head of retail sales at Fidelity FundsNetwork, is stepping down at the beginning of next month to take some time out of the industry. Meanwhile, David White, head of UK retail marketing, has taken on the role of head of Fidelity FundsNetwork to oversee what Fidelity said would be a "substantially increased investment programme" in its platform business. He will work in tandem with Pete Burtonshaw, current head of platform development.
