Oriel Securities: Time to sell Bolton's trust

Oriel urges investors to sell stakes in Anthony Bolton's Fidelity China Special Situations trust and transfer to GEM portfolios.

Oriel Securities has urged investors in Anthony Bolton’s £626m Fidelity China Special Situations investment trust to sell their stakes and switch into global emerging markets portfolios because of risks to Chinese companies. Tom Tuite Dalton, an analyst at Oriel is subdued on the prospects for Chinese-focused investment trusts, after the region suffered a slowdown in growth in the first half of the year.
