JPM's Campbell backs European small-cap shares to rise by 10%

J.P. Morgan's Jim Campbell, manager of the European Smaller Companies investment trust, has predicted shares across Europe will rise by at least 10% or more by the end of the year.

J.P. Morgan’s Jim Campbell, manager of the European Smaller Companies investment trust, has predicted shares across Europe will rise by at least 10% or more by the end of the year. Campbell said European small caps are benefitting from strong earnings growing which is outstripping the rise in P/E multiples, driving the asset class to outperform emerging markets over the last year.
