Cautious Managed retains top spot on Cofunds

The Cautious Managed sector remains at the top of the leaderboard on the Cofunds platform, taking 32% of net sales in June.

Six names from within the peer group make the list of the 10 bestselling funds on the platform. Iain Stewart's £3.9bn Newton Real Return fund retains pole position, while Thames River Distribution and M&G Optimal Income are among those still in the top ten. The Strategic Bond sector remains in second place, with 12% of net sales, and global funds in third with 9%. Michelle Woodburn, manager of fund group relations at Cofunds, said income generating funds are gaining the greatest traction as investors seek to generate returns against a volatile market backdrop.
