MAM Funds closes Liddle's Midas Global Income fund

MAM Funds has closed Sam Liddle's CF Midas Global Income fund after assets dwindled to the point it was no longer economical to run.

The portfolio, which launched in 2005, had just over £2m under management when it wound up. Director Martin Gray said: “Further to our letter to the investors in the CF Miton Global Income Portfolio in March this year, we have now closed the fund. "The closure follows the recent contraction in size to £2.4 m, and with little prospect of attracting new investors it was felt the fund was no longer commercially viable.” Liddle continues to manage the £11.7m CF Miton Cautious Income Portfolio and the £25.8m CF Miton Global Growth Portfolio.
