Steven Mendel, head of wealth management at Close Asset Management, is to leave the firm at the end of this week.
Mendel will leave Close on 15 July to pursue other opportunities, having been at the business for the past two years. Prior to that point he ran the financial services business at auction house Christie's. Andy Fay, former CEO at Cavanagh, is to take up Mendel's role with immediate effect. "With the acquisition of Cavanagh we are fortunate to have the benefit of their experienced management team," said Close Asset Management CEO Martin Andrew.
