Barings' Toby Nangle has joined Threadneedle as head of multi-asset.
He will take on his new role in January 2012 and will report to chief investment officer Mark Burgess. Nangle’s responsibilities will focus on growing the firm’s multi-asset franchise, working closely with the existing asset allocation team including head of managed funds Alex Lyle to develop process and product design. Nangle joins from Barings where he as a director on both the multi-asset and fixed income teams.
