BlackRock is to launch a global emerging markets income fund in August as part of its BGF Luxembourg range.
Managed by Dhiren Shah, the launch will complement BlackRock's existing BGF Asia Pacific Equity Income, Global Equity Income, European Equity Income and World Resources Equity Income funds. Shah is already co-manager of firm's £203m BlackRock Emerging Markets fund with Daniel Tubbs and Sam Vecht. He joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 2001, which then merged with BlackRock in 2006. The fund will launch in late August and will have UK reporting status.
