George Osborne has said efforts in Europe to tackle the economic crisis are currently falling short of what is needed, warning the billions pledged by governments so far are not enough.
The chancellor called on European leaders to "come to a decision and stick to it" over the Greek crisis, after labelling the eurozone the "epicentre" of global stock market turmoil, the Guardian reported. He also warned the support promised from a number of countries so far - including Germany - was not enough to protect the region against possible losses incurred by its member states.
