Henderson is to soft-close Ben Wallace and Luke Newman's Henderson UK Absolute Return OEIC and Henderson Gartmore UK Absolute Return SICAV.
The £368m UK Absolute Return fund and £326m Henderson Gartmore Absolute Return fund were brought over to Henderson earlier this year as part of the company's acquisition of Gartmore. Henderson said the strategy is now in sight of the $2bn capacity limit set at its inception in 2005. As of 30 November, no discounted terms will be available to new investments on the funds, with a 5% charge applying to such investments.
