Chatfeild-Roberts to step down from Jupiter Global Managed

Jupiter has appointed Simon Somerville as manager of the £256m Jupiter Global Managed fund as CIO John Chatfeild-Roberts steps down from the role.

Somerville, who has been deputy manager on the fund since September 2010, will take over as manager on 14 November 2011. Chatfeild-Roberts will become deputy manager and advise on asset allocation. The fund has returned 34.4% over the three years to 21 October versus an average return of 37.1% for the IMA Global sector, according to Morningstar. Somerville will remain as manager of the £478m Jupiter Japan Income fund and the £51m Jupiter Japan Select fund.
