FSA warns investors of copycat Sarasin firm

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has warned investors to be wary of a bogus firm trying to clone Sarasin & Partners.

In a warning notice, the FSA said an organisation called Sarasin Funds Management (Guernsey) Limited is not authorised by the FSA to carry out regulated activity in the UK, including dealing. The FSA said: "We believe the organisation may be targeting UK customers." The FSA said the firm has no association with Sarasin & Partners LLP, which boasts fund managers including Guy Monson.
