Octopus Investments' chief investment officer Lothar Mentel is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities, Investment Week can reveal.
Lothar joined Octopus Investments three years ago, taking on the role of CIO and head of the multi-manager team at the group. Mentel was tasked with building Octopus' multi-manager range, which now comprises six products. This year the group added a global absolute return vehicle and an emerging markets fund to the suite. Guy Myles, managing director, confirmed Mentel left the business earlier this week.
