Jim Rogers poised to buy more euros

Investment veteran Jim Rogers has predicted the euro could see a near-term bounce, despite investors continuing to be overly bearish on the eurozone.

Rogers told CNBC he was now considering buying more euros, after selling some in recent weeks, as he predicted the currency would probably rise in value over the next few months. "I suspect (German Chancellor Angela Merkel) and that crowd will do something to make us feel better," Rogers told CNBC. "I own the euro just because there are so many people bearish and so many shorts in the euro. I do suspect that the euro will survive, in one form or another."
