Martin Currie has launched a European Equity Income fund for Ross Watson after overhauling its existing European fund.
As previously revealed by Investment Week, the group made the decision to convert its £17m European fund into a European Income portfolio back in September last year, after its former manager Eric Woehrling left the company. Watson was promoted from within the firm to manage the product. The converted fund has a revised mandate, seeking to provide a yield in excess of the payout from the MSCI Europe ex-UK index, in addition to capital growth.
