Prashant Kothari has joined Pictet's emerging markets equity team, responsible for Indian equities.
Prashant has joined from ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, based in India, where he was vice president and senior investment manager for the past seven years. "Prashant's appointment represents a significant reinforcement of our emerging markets expertise to this crucial region, we are delighted to have him in the team," said Richard Heelis, CIO of equities at Pictet. Pictet Asset Management is the asset management arm of the Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie and runs £4.3bn of assets under management invested in emerging market equities.
