GAM has launched the GAM Star Emerging Equity fund, to be managed by Tim Love and Joaquim Nogueira.
The long only, UCITS-structured fund will employ a fundamental, valuations-based approach, investing in a portfolio of 100 to 150 emerging market equities. The managers will aim to profit from the growth potential of EM economies by identifying mispriced companies in the region, using a blend of top-down macro analysis and a bottom-up stock selection approach.
