Investec hands European equity funds to Hsia

Investec's Ken Hsia is taking over management of its onshore and offshore European equity funds as part of a reshuffle of responsibilities at the group.

Hsia, who has been with Investec for seven years, will now be responsible for running Investec's £27.6m European fund and its $60m GSF Continental European equity fund, taking over from Nigel Hankin. Hankin, who has run the funds since they were brought in-house at the start of 2007, will continue to work as a sector head in Investec's 4Factor equity team. The move comes as Hsia shifts from manager to alternate manager on the group's £35m UK Alpha fund, which will now be run by Philip Rodrigs.
