Tulloch to take over Scottish Oriental small-cap trust

First State Investments' Angus Tulloch and two members of his team are to take over management of the £192m Scottish Oriental Companies trust next year.

Tulloch and co-managers Wee-Li Hee and Scott McNab will become co-managers of the trust on 1 April 2013, with current manager Susie Rippingall retiring on that date. Rippinghall has managed the trust since October 2000, taking over from Tulloch, who had previously run the portfolio since inception in 1995. McNab has been co-manager of Scottish Oriental since 2004, while Hee has worked with Tulloch in managing First State's Asia Pacific funds since April 2005.
