Standard Life Investments has hired former Threadneedle EMD head Richard House to lead its drive into the emerging market debt space.
House will be joined by two of his former colleagues at Threadneedle, Mark Baker and Nicolas Jaquier, who have joined SLI as investment directors. Rod Paris, the group's head of investments, said SLI will be looking to launch new emerging market bond mandates for the team after they officially arrive in July.
