LGIM's Launder promoted to head of European equities

LGIM's European fund manager Gavin Launder has been promoted to head of European equities at the group.

Launder (pictured) replaces Ian King, who left the group last month to pursue a new opportunity. Last January Launder replaced King as lead manager of the £102m Legal & General European Trust, to allow King to concentrate on his role as head of European equities. Launder also heads up the group's £25m European Absolute Return fund.
