BlackRock has promoted Ben Edwards to co-manage its Corporate Bond fund alongside Simon Blundell.
Edwards, a portfolio manager within BlackRock's sterling bond portfolio team, joined the group in 2010 from Legal & General Investment Management, where he was a portfolio manager responsible for institutional and retail sterling corporate bond portfolios. The £133m BFM Corporate Bond fund has been managed by Blundell since late last year, when previous manager Paul Shuttleworth left the group. Blundell joined BlackRock from Aviva Investors last September. "Ben has worked closely with Simon on the fund since his appointment as manager in October 2011," a BlackRock spokesman said. ...
