GAM China manager Mok exits for Swiss private bank

GAM's China star manager Mansfield Mok is set to leave the firm to join Swiss private bank and asset manager EFG Asset Management (EFGAM).

The top performing manager of the £913m GAM Star China Equity fund will exit GAM at the end of May to join EFGAM’s regional investment team. The group said it plans to expand its Asian offering in both equities and fixed income following his arrival. Moz Afzal, chief investment officer at EFGAM, said: “As part of our continued drive into Asia and interest in the region, we are delighted to have Mansfield on board.
