Threadneedle hires two for bond team after House's exit

Threadneedle has added two names to its fixed income team following the departure of the group's head of emerging market debt, Richard House.

Threadneedle has hired Clifford Lau to the newly created role of head of Asia pacific fixed income, while also appointing Zara Kazaryan as an EMD fund manager. The hires come after House left the group to join Standard Life Investments in April. Lau joins from Pramerica Fixed Income, the asset management division of Prudential Financial. Meanwhile, Kazaryan joins from G2 Capital Partners, where he had headed up a long-only emerging markets fixed income fund.
