Rogers warns investors over 'terribly flawed' US dollar

Investment veteran Jim Rogers has spoken out against the US dollar, describing the perceived safe haven as "terribly flawed".

Investors have flocked to the dollar in recent weeks as fears over a potential Greek or Spanish exit from the eurozone have escalated. The euro has continued its downward spiral against the dollar in recent weeks falling to $1.23, according to BBC data. Rogers continues to own the currency but warned it is intrinsically flawed. "I do own the US dollar. People see it as a safe haven, but it is not a safe haven. But people think that, and so therefore I own the dollar," Rogers told Newsmax TV.
