Standard Life revamps top tier management

Standard Life has restructured its top tier management team, with Paul Matthews taking additional responsibility for the firm's European operations.

Matthews (pictured) becomes chief executive UK and Europe and will lead the UK, German and Irish domestic business. He was previously chief executive of the UK business. Nathan Parnaby, currently chief executive Standard Life International, will take up the role of chief executive of Standard Life Asia and Emerging Markets. Sandy Begbie has been named as group operations officer.
