Global markets bounced back sharply last month, with some of the most heavily sold off equities in Europe up by huge margins.
With sentiment towards Europe improving among investors, buoyed by talk of a €600bn rescue deal for the Spanish and Italian banking sectors, equities have had a storming run higher. The biggest winners in June were markets which had been sold off the most, with the more stable UK and US indices posting lower gains.
