Mickey Morrissey, head of third party distribution at Liontrust Asset Management, has exited the firm.
Liontrust confirmed the departure and said the group is not yet looking for a replacement. Mark Allpress will continue to oversee the team in his role as head of UK sales. Morrissey joined Liontrust in 2002 from Merrill Lynch. In March, Ian Furtado, former head of sales of the emerging markets boutique Occam which was acquired by Liontrust, was made redundant. He joined the firm along with two other sales personnel, David Shepherd and Edward Ford, in October under the £3.9m deal.
