GMO's Jeremy Grantham has said there will be a number of opportunities for investors to snap up discounted European equities, as the crisis continues to roll on.
Grantham said equities had sold off extensively across Europe, leaving many shares attractively valued. However, he said there was no need for investors to rush headlong into markets now, with more dips likely. "The good news is that equity valuations are attractive in many regions, particularly the eurozone," he said. "We anticipate taking advantage of these low valuations in the coming months, but slowly as the ride will be uneven and we believe will likely present multiple entry points."
