Insight hires Lambert from UBS to replace ex-currency head Thomas

Insight Investment has appointed a head of currency to replace Dale Thomas (pictured), who left the firm in May.

Paul Lambert, formerly head of currency at UBS Asset Management, will join Insight Investment as of September. Lambert will be head of currency overall and have lead responsibility in the running of the £283m Absolute Insight Currency fund. Max Wahl, who has managed the fund since Thomas' departure with Richard Nibloe, will continue to co-manage the portfolio. Lambert will report to Adrian Grey, Insight's head of fixed income.
