AXA IM head of European high yield Wilmont exits

Andrew Wilmont, head of European high yield at AXA Investment Managers, has left the firm, handing his funds to James Gledhill.

Wilmont oversaw the management of the £100m AXA Global High Income and £29.5m AXA Pan European High Yield Bond funds. The FIIS Europe Short Duration High Yield fund was launched for Wilmont last September. This fund will also be taken over by Gledhill (pictured), who joined the firm last year as global head of high yield and deputy head of credit.
