Threadneedle vice chairman Sarah Arkle has stepped down from the role and is set to take up a non-executive director position at Henderson.
Arkle (pictured) was chief investment officer at Threadneedle for almost a decade until December 2010, when she became vice chairman. Her career in fund management began in 1983 when she joined Allied Dunbar Asset Management, staying on when the firm became Threadneedle in 1994 and taking responsibility for building the group's investment process and hiring a number of senior fund managers.
