Investec hires Schroders' Spinks as head of UK multi-asset

Investec Asset Management has appointed Schroders' Michael Spinks as part of an expansion of its $13bn multi-asset offering.

Spinks will join the group as head of its UK multi-asset capability, working alongside Philip Saunders, global head of multi-asset investments. The manager spent seven years at Schroders, most recently as co-manager of the £4.5bn Diversified Growth fund and a member of the group's global asset allocation committee.
