Standard Life has overhauled its UK operation following a senior management review and launched a dedicated adviser and investment unit.
The move follows the top tier management reshuffle in June, which saw Paul Matthews named chief executive of UK and Europe. Changes to the UK operation include the retail adviser, proposition and wealth and investment solutions businesses reporting into Richard Charnock, under the new ‘advisers and investments' business unit. The firm's corporate arm will be rebranded ‘workplace' under Ronnie Taylor. He will also remain accountable for Standard Life's implementation of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR).
