Sarasin's managing partner and CIO Guy Monson has stepped down as manager of the group's Global Equity Income and International Equity Income funds.
Investment Week can reveal Monson has stepped down from both the £336m Sarasin International Equity Income fund, as well as the £138m Sarasin Global Equity Income (Sterling Hedged) fund. The funds, which were previously run by both Monson and lead-manager Mark Whitehead, are now run by Whitehead and new deputy manager Darryl Lucas, formerly an analyst at the group. The handover forms part of the group's strategy to promote internal talent.
