Legal & General Investments' Frank McGarry is leaving the business, Investment Week understands.
McGarry, who was sales director at the group, is expected to leave the firm imminently. His departure comes after a recent update from parent company L&G. The insurer reported profits at L&G Investments were up just 1% in the first half of 2012, to £119m. McGarry, who has been at the group since October 2010, is a well known figure in the industry, having previously been director of intermediary sales at Insight Investment. Before that, he was sales director at Cofunds for four years between 2001 and 2005. It it understood McGarry is still employed by L&G Investments at present....
