Allianz Global Investors has added German equity and European fixed income funds to its Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV range.
The Allianz German Equity fund, to be run by Matthias Born, is slated for launch on 22 October. It will be a high conviction product, predominantly invested in large caps with a maximum of 20% in small and mid caps. The fund’s investment philosophy will be the same as that of the €2bn Allianz Concentra fund, which Born has managed since 2007.
