Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has hired Lynda Shillaw as director of real estate.
Shillaw, who joined from Lloyds Banking Group, will oversee the company's real estate team, which runs over £8bn in assets, as well as help dictate the strategic direction of the business. She will report to SWIP's managing director Dean Buckley and replaces Malcolm Naish, who retired earlier in the year. In her previous role at Llloyds, Shillaw was MD of corporate real estate for the group's corporate and institutional banking arm since October 2010. Prior to that she worked for Co-operative Group.
