McCorkell retires from Brewin Dolphin

David McCorkell, head of investment management at Brewin Dolphin, has retired with immediate effect.

McCorkell relinquished his seat on the board on 22 October. He has worked in the role since September 2007, having worked at Bell Lawrie prior to the Scottish group's acquisition by Brewins in 1993. He became a director at Brewins in 2003 and joined the board in 2006, becoming a non-executive director at the Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers in 2009.
