Former Neptune manager Muirhead joins R&M

Former Neptune manager Nicola Muirhead has joined River & Mercantile Asset Management to work on its global equity team.

Muirhead exited Neptune in August while the fund she managed for the firm, the £1m UK Alpha fund, was closed due to insufficient assets. She joins R&M as an analyst reporting to Alex Stanic and Alex O'Reilly, the heads of the global equity division which joined from Newton in 2009.
