Former Neptune manager Nicola Muirhead has joined River & Mercantile Asset Management to work on its global equity team.
Muirhead exited Neptune in August while the fund she managed for the firm, the £1m UK Alpha fund, was closed due to insufficient assets. She joins R&M as an analyst reporting to Alex Stanic and Alex O'Reilly, the heads of the global equity division which joined from Newton in 2009. At Neptune, where she worked for four years, she was also the global mining analyst. Stanić said: "We are delighted that Nicky will be joining R&M.
