UBS' head of UK discretionary sales Shepherd exits

John Shepherd, head of UK retail discretionary sales at UBS Global Asset Management, has resigned from the firm.

"I have decided to the leave to pursue a new challenge and take advantage of a good opportunity," said Shepherd, who has secured his next role but is unable to reveal it at this stage. The group said it will announce a replacement for Shepherd imminently. Shepherd has worked at UBS Global Asset Management for over a decade, prior to which he worked for Schroders within the strategic alliance sales team.
