SWIP appoints Martyn Gilbey as head of wholesale

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Martyn Gilbey as head of wholesale, replacing Kevin Addison who left the firm in June.

Gilbey will report to Francis Ghiloni, SWIP's director of distribution & client management, and will be based in SWIP's London office. Prior to joining SWIP, Gilbey worked for Mirae Asset Management for two years where he was first chief marketing officer in Hong Kong, before moving back to the UK to become managing director in London. Before Mirae Asset Management, Gilbey worked for Insight Investment for eight years, most recently as head of wholesale and financial institutions.
