SWIP merges multi-manager team with Lloyds long-only team

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has announced it is merging its multi-manager team with the international wealth management business of parent Lloyds Banking Group.

The multi-manager team - headed up by Mark Harries (pictured), who has worked for SWIP since 2007 - currently runs funds including the £85m SWIP MM Diversity fund, the £16m MM Select Boutiques fund and the £4m MM Optimal Multi-Asset fund. A spokesperson for SWIP confirmed the deal. They said: "We can confirm that the long-only manager selection team from the International Wealth Division and SWIP's multi-manager team have merged.
