Natixis AM launches SRI investment unit

Natixis Asset Management has launched an investment division dedicated to creating long-term value from socially responsible investments.

The new division, named Mirova, is comprised of 36 multi-disciplinary professionals and has formed a research partnership with Cambridge University. Mirova is organised into four themes: listed shares management (investing in companies with major sustainable development themes); infrastructure financing; investing in projects and non-listed companies with a "strong social and environmental impact"; and supporting investors and companies to manage decisions as responsible shareholders.
