MAM's Williams contacts IFAs after 'expensive advice' furore

Fund manager Gervais Williams has written to the IFA community following his comments made in a Sunday Times interview last month, in which he labelled financial advice 'expensive'.

In the Sunday Times article, Williams, managing director of MAM Funds, said he does not use financial advisers because of the cost, prompting widespread criticism from the adviser community. Williams (pictured) has now written to advisers in an effort to set the record straight.
