Henderson's Lanning to quit for JPM role

Tony Lanning, multi-manager at Henderson Global Investors, has quit the group to join J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Lanning, who is director of multi-asset at Henderson, will join J. P. Morgan Asset Mangement in January to manage their risk-rated Elite Portfolio and JPM Fusion range. JPMAM has created the discretionary and fund of funds ranges as part of its adviser solutions offering launching early next year. Bill McQuaker (pictured), head of multi-asset at Henderson will take over as lead manger of Henderson's Multi-Manager Absolute Return fund. Lanning joined Henderson at the time of the Gartmore merger in January 2011.
