Kames Capital's Dinning quits for coal board pension job

Kames Capital's head of investment strategy Bill Dinning has quit his role to become an investment strategist for Coal Pension Trustee Services.

He resigned on 1 November after almost nine years with the firm and is now on gardening leave until a replacement is appointed. As well as his head of investment strategy role, Dinning (pictured) was also co-manager on the Strategic Assets fund alongside Sean Flanagan, who has taken up sole management since his departure. A Kames statement said: "Over the last eight years he has made a valued contribution to our investment strategy group and our business, and Kames would like to wish him every success with his new role."
