Investec poaches Argonaut's Lester for sales team

Investec Asset Management has hired Argonaut head of distribution John Lester to its UK client group as it beginnings rolling out its RDR proposition.

Lester, who joined Argonaut last summer after spending six years as head of strategic partnerships at Neptune, will join as a sales manager within Investec's UK client group. He will report to Fergus McCarthy, sales director, strategic partnerships at Investec. Lester, who previously worked at both HSBC Asset Management and ABSA Investment Management, joined Argonaut in July alongside two other Neptune colleagues, Dennis Pellerito and Andy Nickson.
